HJ Chemco N.V. started on November 5, 1982 as the manufacturer of chlorine and hydrochloric acid products. Currently CHEMCO is the manufacturer of JAV chlorine products and many other detergents under the POWER brand name. The successful “JAV bleach” is the market leader and standard in Suriname. HJ CHEMCO also produces JAV bleach soap and offers special chlorine to disinfect swimming pools effectively and Industrial Chlorine to fisheries. We are the only supplier of industrial high concentrated bleach to many factories in Suriname.
